Blaze Foley and fans at The Hole-in-the-Wall

Blaze Foley at the Hole-In-the-Wall on the Drag. Some folks look familiar to me but I never really knew their names. Didn't catch many people's names. I was too busy shooting pictures to learn people's names but I sure had fun.

If you know any of these cat's names could you let me know please. They are UT bound with your help. Thank you. RIP Blaze.

Brigade Security

This is Brigade Security. I know a few of the folks here but not everyone. Your help in identifying them would be appreciated. Their portrait is already in The Center for American History at UT but not their names and they should be included.

Shot this on the stage at Willie's Opera House. Was that a great venue or what? Had some of the best times of my life in that building. Thanks.
I haven't figured out how to edit here yet. Give me time. Here's a bigger photo of the Chron Staff. Thanks for your patience.

The Austin Chronicle Staff 1985

Hello. These folks are from The Austin Chronicle. I asked them if I could take a group shot and amazingly everyone showed up on the shores of where some of Austin's greatest concerts have taken place. This is at a time when my favorite local sportscaster was featured on Ch. 36 KTXZ was it? Vick "the Brick" Jacobs was on staff. He threw rubber bricks at the tv camera. Made me laugh. Anyway if you know the names of these folks from the greatest magazine I've ever read please let me know. And the dog's name eludes me also. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Shiner Beer did become my sponsor after I photographed 350+ bands in my studio on W. 6th St. in Austin. So one day Shiner asked me to shoot some table-tent promotional shots and I obliged. Katherine Keating was my liaison through Spoetzl Distributors and arranged everything I did for about two years while the prints were being made and while they were on tour. But I don't know these folks. Do you? If you do please let me know and thank you again.
Let's see, my former haunt where I hung out quite a bit when not out barhopping was The Deep Eddy Cabaret. They had the best jukebox in town and two pooltables where I tried to earn my rent!

Although these photos are small it was 24 years ago so some should be quite identifiable. As soon as I have as many names of people as possible I will add them to my little collection at UT seen here: http://www.lib.utexas.edu/taro/utcah/00528/cah-00528.html

Thank you for your help. Niles

The Flying Circus

I'm hoping Ponty chimes in and tells me who everyone is. But if you know any of these music fans please let me know.

This shot was about 1986 I think. Not too sure. My mind is a tad fuzzy then and now! That's why I summoning your help. Thx.
